What good hardware design looks like
- Start from requirements, not parts: supply range, current, accuracy, environment, cost and certification.
- Power design causes most prototype problems. Inrush, brown-out, reverse polarity and noise are specified up front.
- Design for supply and test: second-source parts, test points and a programming header cost cents and save weeks.
- You receive editable open files (KiCad), not a locked-in design.
Circuit areas we design
- Power: buck, boost, LDO, battery charging, power-path, protection.
- Sensing and analog: precision ADC front-ends, amplifiers, 4-20 mA loops, thermocouple and RTD interfaces.
- Digital: MCU, memory, clocks, reset and debug.
- Communications: RS-485, CAN, Ethernet PHY, USB, plus Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa and cellular modules.
- Industrial interfaces: isolated I/O, relay and opto-isolated inputs, surge and ESD protection.
Our design process
| Step | Output |
|---|---|
| Requirements capture | Specification with measurable targets |
| Architecture and part selection | Block diagram, part shortlist with availability check |
| Schematic and simulation | Schematic, SPICE results where valuable |
| Design review | Checklist covering power, ESD, thermal, test and EMC |
| Handover to layout | Netlist, constraints, BOM with alternates |
Supply chain awareness
Component shortages derail products. We check lifecycle status and stock, avoid sole-source parts where practical and note alternates in the BOM. Read about the wider challenge in Make in India electronics. The next step is PCB design.
Design review service
Already have a schematic? We offer a stand-alone review that checks power sequencing, decoupling, protection, pin conflicts and testability, and returns a prioritised issue list. It is the cheapest way to avoid a respin.
